Some small reflections

Greetings from D.C.,

Last week, I headed west to Shenandoah, the northernmost region of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I went seeking rest and relaxation, something we all need in general, and especially during what can only be described as an exhausting 2020 thus far. What an emotional roller coaster for each and every one of us—at all levels (global, national, local and individual alike)! The Universe is telling us something; will we choose to listen to Her?

For me, I’ve definitely been grieving—mourning the loss of what I thought my future held, romantically and professionally. But in that grief, I’ve also been contemplating the notion of abundance, of our innate ability to manifest, grow and become more. It is on this where I plan to place more and more of my focus, as it is this that will help cultivate my attention and intention and lead to transformation.

We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope. ~Martin Luther King, Jr.

I know it is not an easy path, and I know it is the only one.

With gratitude,

XO
