Your life should feel like yours, not like someone else’s.
This work is for you. Now.
Let’s co-design it, then, to meet your needs.
You get to decide how you move, breathe and be.
TBD
We were all designed to move. breathe. be.
What Is Coaching?
And why might it be for you?
Coaching is a collaborative partnership designed to help you get from where you are to where you want to be, with clarity, accountability and someone in your corner.
It’s not therapy (we won’t be looking in your rear view mirror in effort to diagnose you). It’s not consulting (I won’t have written your map and programmed it in your GPS to follow). And it’s not mentoring (I won’t be passenger seat driving about my experience on this route).
Coaching is a forward-looking, action-oriented process that start with what matters most to you. and helps you move forward with intention. I ask questions—you discover answers. And together, we co-create a path that’s authentically yours.
Possible areas that we might explore include:
Career transitions, whether you’re pivoting, re-entering or redefining what works means to you;
Leadership presence and how you show up in rooms that matter;
Navigating the tension between what you should do and what you want to do;
Building a life that reflects your values, not just your obligations;
Getting unstuck—whether you’re spinning in unproductive action or frozen in place;
Integrating movement, breath and mindfulness into your everyday decision-making.
Catching is not a substitute for therapy or mental health treatment. If you’re in crisis, please reach out to a qualified mental health professional.
Together, you and I will co-design a plan according to your specific goals and needs, creating the clarity and momentum you need to move forward.
I’m Catherine!
And I’d be honored to be your coach.
I’m a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach (ICF ACC). I trained at the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), widely regarded as one of the most rigorous coaching programs in the world.
But here’s what credentials don’t tell you: I’ve spent 20+ years building, be them teams, partnerships, departments, even a 501(c)3, across sports properties, global brands and mission-driven organizations. I know what it feels like to lead, to build, to pour yourself into something—and to wonder whether it’s leading you to where you actually want to go.
I came to coaching similar to how I came to yoga—because something in my life needed to shift, and I needed someone to help me see what I couldn’t see on my own. That’s what I offer you now.
Who Am I?
Why might coaching be an option for you?
You’re in transition—between roles, careers or chapters—and want a thought partner, not just advice
You feel the pull towards something more but haven’t been able to name it or act on it yet
You’re accomplished by external measures, but something feels misaligned
You’re ready to stop waiting for permission and to start designing your life with intension
You want to be challenged with compassion by someone who will tell you the truth

How Do We Begin?
STEP ONE.
CHEMISTRY. We'll start with a complimentary conversation—no commitment, no pressure. This is where we both get to see if there's a fit. Good coaching requires trust, and trust starts with an honest conversation.
STEP TWO.
DISCOVERY. We'll explore what present state looks like for you—what's working, what's not and what you want to be different. We'll clarify your goals and design an approach that fits your life, your pace and your way of thinking.
STEP THREE.
PARTNERSHIP. We’ll meet regularly (typically weekly or biweekly) and work together over time. I'll challenge you, support you, hold you accountable and celebrate with you. You'll do the real work between sessions—and you'll surprise yourself with what you're capable of.
Is This You?
Does any of the below describe you?
You're a professional in transition who wants to move with intention, not just momentum
You've been told you're a strong leader, but something about how you're leading doesn't feel sustainable
You're building something new—a business, a practice, a chapter—and want a strategic thought partner
You feel stuck, whether that's spinning in too many directions or frozen in place, and you're ready for that to change
You know you're capable of more but can't quite access it on your own
You want someone who will see you clearly, challenge you honestly and believe in you fiercely
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Therapy often focuses on healing, processing past experiences and diagnosing conditions. Coaching is forward-looking—we start with where you are now and focus on where you want to go. I'm not a therapist, and coaching is not a substitute for mental health care. Many of my clients work with both a therapist and a coach, and the two complement each other beautifully.
-
Most clients start with a 3-6 month commitment, meeting weekly or biweekly for 45-60 minute sessions via Zoom. Some clients continue beyond that initial period as new goals emerge. We'll co-design the cadence and duration based on your needs.
-
Pricing depends on the structure we design together. I'll share my rates during our initial chemistry conversation so you can make an informed decision before committing.
-
Most coaching sessions happen virtually via Zoom, which gives us the most flexibility. I'm based in Washington, D.C. and am open to in-person sessions for local clients on a case-by-case basis.
-
I work with professionals, leaders, entrepreneurs and builders—people who are accomplished but restless, in transition or ready for their next chapter. My clients tend to be thoughtful, driven people who know something needs to shift but want a partner in figuring out what and how.
-
Co-Active is a coaching methodology that treats the client as naturally creative, resourceful and whole. It's not about fixing you—it's about partnering with you to access what's already there. The "co" means we do this together. The "active" means we're oriented towards action and change. CTI, where I trained, has been training coaches for over 30 years and is considered the gold standard in the field.
