Your life should feel like yours.

This work is for you. Now.

Something is off. You know it—even if you can’t name it yet.

Maybe you're stuck in place, motivated but unable to move. Maybe you're in constant swirl, spinning hard but not getting anywhere. Maybe it's both at the same time—which is more common than you'd think.

Either way, you're here. And that's the right place to start.

We were all designed to move. breathe. be.

What Is Coaching?

Coaching is a forward-looking, action-oriented partnership. We start with where you are—not where you've been—and work toward where you want to go.

It's not therapy. We won't be looking in the rearview mirror trying to diagnose what happened. It's not consulting—I'm not drawing you a map and handing you the directions. And it's not mentoring—I won't be telling you how I navigated the same route.

What I will do is walk beside you. Help you chart your own path. Ask the questions that open things up. And be genuinely, honestly in your corner.

You can do it. I can help.

How We Work Together

Move

We co-identify where there might be blockages—so you can move through them. We'll explore your vision, your values and the perspectives that might be keeping you where you are.

Breathe

We co-nurture your relationship with yourself. We'll look at the inner critic, the habits that aren't serving you and the boundaries that need building.

Be

We co-create a path forward—one you can actually commit to. Clarity on what you want, a plan to get there and the accountability to follow through.

Does This Sound Familiar?

You're accomplished—by most measures, doing well. But something isn't adding up.

You're either moving too fast to feel it, or you've stopped moving and aren't sure how to start again. You're capable of more but can't quite access it on your own. You know something needs to shift—you just can't see it clearly from where you're standing.

That's not a flaw. That's exactly where this work begins.

I’m Catherine.

I'm a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC). I trained at the Co-Active Training Institute—widely considered one of the most rigorous coaching programs in the world.

But credentials only tell part of it.

I came to coaching the same way many of my clients do—not because I was looking for it, but because something in my life needed to shift, and I couldn't see my way through alone. What I found changed how I understood myself, my choices and what was actually possible.

That's what I want for you.

How We Begin

STEP ONE.

CHEMISTRY. A complimentary conversation—no commitment, no pressure. We both get to see if there's a fit. Good coaching starts with an honest conversation.

STEP TWO.

DISCOVERY. We explore where you are—what's working, what isn't and what you want to be different. We clarify your goals and design an approach that fits your life, your pace and your way of thinking.

STEP THREE.

PARTNERSHIP. We meet regularly—typically weekly or biweekly—and work together over time. You'll do the real work between sessions. And you'll surprise yourself with what you're capable of.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Therapy often focuses on healing, processing past experiences and diagnosing conditions. Coaching is forward-looking—we start with where you are now and focus on where you want to go. I'm not a therapist, and coaching is not a substitute for mental health care. Many of my clients work with both a therapist and a coach, and the two complement each other beautifully.

  • Most clients start with a 3-6 month commitment, meeting weekly or biweekly for 45-60 minute sessions via Zoom. Some clients continue beyond that initial period as new goals emerge. We'll co-design the cadence and duration based on your needs.

  • Pricing depends on the structure we design together. I'll share my rates during our initial chemistry conversation so you can make an informed decision before committing.

  • Most coaching sessions happen virtually via Zoom, which gives us the most flexibility. I'm based in Washington, D.C. and am open to in-person sessions for local clients on a case-by-case basis.

  • I work with professionals, leaders, entrepreneurs and builders—people who are accomplished but restless, in transition or ready for their next chapter. My clients tend to be thoughtful, driven people who know something needs to shift but want a partner in figuring out what and how.

  • Co-Active is a coaching methodology that treats the client as naturally creative, resourceful and whole. It's not about fixing you—it's about partnering with you to access what's already there. The "co" means we do this together. The "active" means we're oriented towards action and change. CTI, where I trained, has been training coaches for over 30 years and is considered the gold standard in the field.
